I received a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review!
Scrolling through Facebook or any social media outlet can quickly make me feel like a great mom or a poor one. Pinterest often frustrates me as a mom because I see all of these talented women who can make these awesome booties for their babies or create a meal out of garbanzo beans and paprika.
It’s so easy to get caught up in who the world wants us to be and forget who God wants us to be. In those moments, when I feel as though I don’t compare, I have to sit back and remember a few things.
God created me!
Just because I can’t cook or crochet baby booties, it doesn’t mean I’m not talented and a daughter of the King Most High.
God’s Word is Powerful
Often times, when we’re going through those moments of self doubt we remember what the enemy has to say and not what God has to say. Remembering the Power of God’s Word is important.
Reading the Right Material
I can spend hours scrolling the Internet and find myself feeling down or incompetent. However, I choose to read material that can help me “Be the Best Mom I Can Be.”
I recently read a book called “Be the Best Mom You Can Be” and it’s been an encouragement in my walk of motherhood. It’s a reminder that God’s word and the Holy Spirit can give proper direction and freedom to parents who need it most.
I’m not a perfect parent, but I serve a heavenly Father who helps me be the best mom I can be!
