Thanks to JellyFish Art our newest member of our family has finally arrived. Mini named him Jelly! Now if I said I wasn't amazed to have him I would be lying. I can sit and watch him for hours. LOL!
We received our take back in September and had it ready to go but had to wait for the Jellys to get big enough to ship. Setting up the tank was pretty easy. They actually have videos that walk you through each step. I highly suggest that you watch them all so that you can get to know your Jelly and how best to take care of it. You can find the videos on the JellyFish Art website or you can watch them here.
Your desktop tank comes with everything you need to set the tank up except for the salt. My Walmart does not carry it so I ordered mine on Amazon. Once you have your tank set up, you can order your JellyFish and you will have it the next day. I can not stress enough that you need to really take the time to educate yourself on your Jellyfish. Although, we've had no trouble these are high maintenance creatures but are are beautiful amazing, and worth the extra time it takes to maintain them.
Feeding Jelly has been pretty easy. I will say be very careful because it's really easy to suck your Jelly up into the pipette if you care not careful.
We've never had a Jellyfish before and depending on how well he does we will be adding a cleaner snail and a hermit crab to the tank with Jelly. You can buy these at JellyFish Art too.
If you have animal lovers in the house, these would make a great Christmas gift. These would also be a great addition to Homeschoolers. You can plan so many lessons around your Jellys arrival and setting up the tank.
