a silicone mold

Directions:
Place granulated sugar in a large bowl.
Add 1-2 teaspoons dried lavender buds depending on how strong you want your lavender flavor and stir it together well.
Add three drops of lemon essential oil and mix again.
You want to add water very slowly, just a little at a time so that you don’t end up with a soggy sugar mess. I like to use a spray bottle with a fine spray nozzle so that I can spritz it evenly and slowly.
Spray mixture with a couple spritzes of water, stir, and repeat until your sugar mix is just barely damp but sticks together when you squeeze it.
Spoon sugar mixture into a silicone mold and press it into place firmly with the back of your spoon- using a floral mold like this will make your sugar cubes decorative.
Take care to note how many teaspoons each mold cavity holds so that you know for yourself and your guests, you may not want to fill it completely, I usually shoot for 2 teaspoons per sugar cube.
Set mold aside and allow to dry for several hours or overnight until solid.
Carefully remove from the mold and store in an airtight container until ready to use.
