Making a batch of this homemade melt and pour soap is as easy as pie...pumpkin pie that is.
Pumpkin Pie Spice Loofah Soap
Supplies needed for this pumpkin spice soap diy
1/2-pounds melt and pour soap cut into cubes (each cube is approx.. 1”)
1-2 loofah sponges
1 tablespoon jojoba oil
10-20 drops frankincense essential oil
1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice scent
1 tablespoon brown cosmetic glitter
1 tablespoon brown mica powder
Soap mold (I used this one from Amazon, but any with enough room to fill the sponge will work great)
Spray bottle of rubbing alcohol
How to make these Pumpkin Spice Loofah Soap
- Cut your loofah into 1.5” slices and set aside.
- Add 18 cubes of soap base to a microwave safe bowl or measuring cup. Add frankincense essential oil, pumpkin pie scent and jojoba oil. Melt in microwave for 30 seconds. Stir and repeat until completely melted.
- Add brown mica powder to soap mixture and mix well.
- Spray mold with rubbing alcohol. Sprinkle a bit of glitter and allow to dry.
- Add just enough soap mix to cover the bottom of the mold. Gently press a loofah slice into each mold. Allow to harden for 10 minutes.
- Pour soap mixture into soap mold until it just covers the top of the loofah.
- Allow to harden overnight. Remove carefully and store in an airtight container or Ziploc bag. This loofah soap is a fantastic for exfoliating, cleaning and moisturizing your skin!
