Homemade Honey Wheat Bread
Ingredients:
2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup white all-purpose flour
1 c very warm water
1 yeast packet or 1 1/2 tsp.
1 T. granulated sugar
2 T. honey
2 tsp. salt
Directions:
Add yeast to warm water.
In a large bowl combine salt and honey to mix well.
Add flours and stir to combine completely.
Once water and yeast are foamy you can add them to flour mixture and stir well.
Cover the bowl with a clean dish towel and allow to sit for 2 hours or until dough doubles in size.

Punch dough down then knead for 3-4 minutes transfer dough to lightly oiled loaf pan, cover with clean dish towel again and allow to set for one hour.
Heat oven to 400°.
Bake for 30 minutes, until top is golden brown and crust is solid- if you tap it you can hear a hollow sound.
Allow to rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
