Peach Pie Cobbler with Cake Mix

What I love most about this delicious homemade fruit cobbler is that it uses fresh peaches as the filling. (but truth be told, you can use can peaches if you'd like!)

There really isn't anything quite like a warm, fresh fruit pie straight from the oven so I really think that you're going to love this simple and filling pie recipe.

All you're going to need to get started are a few simple ingredients!

What do you need to make Cake Mix peach cobbler

  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 6 ripe peaches (or 2 cans peaches with syrup)
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 2 sticks butter

How to make homemade peach pie cobbler Using Cake Mix

Preheat oven to 350 F. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.

Cut 6 fresh peaches and place at the bottom of the pan. 

Mix 1 cup of sugar with 1 cup of water stirring to dissolve the sugar. 

Pour sugar mixture over the fresh peaches.

*if using canned peaches skip the above step. Canned peaches will have their own syrup*

Banana Pudding Cupcakes are easy to serve and are delicious.

Sprinkle the cake mix over the peaches, pressing down firmly.

Cut thin slices from the 2 sticks of butter and place on top of the cake, making sure to cover every area.

Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
